Ilham Nugraha

Welcome!

Adjunct Faculty, Institut Teknologi Bandung
Lecturer in Decision Making and Strategic Negotiation (SBM ITB), and Politics of Urban Planning (SAPPD ITB)

Research focus: Climate Justice and Economic Security, Conflict Resolution, International Relations (International Organization, Neorealism).

Beyond my primary roles as a lecturer, researcher, and organizational advisor at Institut Teknologi Bandung, I also serve as an international program evaluator, primarily consulted Independent Evaluation Offices of UN-affiliated organizations. Additionally, I am actively engaged in various academic and policy organizations.

My academic journey led me to the prestigious Jeb E. Brooks School of Public Policy, Cornell University, where I earned my Master's degree in Public Administration (MPA). During my time there, I had the privilege of being guided by eminent professors such as Kaushik Basu, Stephen Hilgartner, and Suraj Malladi. Their extensive knowledge and invaluable advice have shaped my approach towards research and policy studies. I am an Abraham and Henrietta Brettschneider Visiting Academic at Nuffield College, University of Oxford where I contributed to research on funding alternatives of energy transitions. Furthermore, I am a proud member of the US National Science Policy Network and the American Association for the Advancement of Science.
